Community Offers

Kilkenny Community League
Annual General Meeting
Thursday Nov 1st
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Kilkenny Hall 14910-72 St
Kilkenny Community League is in immediate need of new Executive members. Several positions are now available and nominations & elections for Executive positions will be held. Please consider volunteering for one of the positions listed below.
The Kilkenny Community League has been in existence for over 40 years, thanks to the participation of the members of the community. We are proud to have a dedicated, hardworking volunteer group of Executives, but it is essential that we have turnover to ensure that the ever-changing population of the community is represented and that area families be involved in the continuing evolution of the league and its mandate to support community programming.
All new Executive members will be fully supported and assisted by both current and outgoing Executive. Specialized knowledge and/or training in sports, or community league experience, is not required. What is needed are individuals that are willing to commit some time, energy and enthusiasm. Your efforts will help ensure that Kilkenny can continue to offer events and programs to your families, and you will learn about how decisions are made that affect residents and the community's financial health.
If you have never attended a community league meeting, please seriously consider attending the 2012 AGM. The League cannot function without community member participation. Without more help, sports and other programs may no longer be offered.
We know there are many enthusiastic, talented individuals among our community families that can not only maintain current standards, but bring forth new ideas and suggestions for improvements. We want to hear your voices!
Positions now open:
VP, Sports
Soccer Director
Baseball Director
Area 17 Representative
Specific questions regarding details of the Executive positions and the duties pertaining to them will be addressed at the AGM.
We hope to see you at Kilkenny Community League Hall, November 1, 2012 at 7:00 pm! Refreshments will be served and you will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with current Executive members with your questions and/or concerns.
Thank You
Kilkenny Executive

Let's try this again...there is no fraud attempt, the system just doesn't seem to like our email's so we will take them out and try again...

Welcome fall!

(or should we say Welcome Winter after the last few days!!)

Welcome to our first email edition of our Rosslyn Community Newsletter!  We are super excited about this new way of communicating...but be patient with us as we get through it!!!

First up this Month is the Community League Day – September 20, 2014 from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Community Hall.

Come get your Community Membership as well as sign the petition for the Resident Upgrade.

Which leads us to the second important issue this month…

Think about the benefits this will bring to the Rosslyn neighborhood…check out the newsletter online for more info.  For more information, please go to the city website at: edmonton.ca/localimprovements
