Rosslyn Community League has a growing list of exciting programs. Our hope is to create a centre for the community to grow, learn and have fun!

Karate

John Aldridge has been instructing Uechi Ryu Karate through Willow River Karate School in North and Northeast Edmonton since January 1997. Classes offer instruction in traditional Okinawan karate as well as modern defensive and offensive techniques

General Information:
Session Cost per Student: $250.00 (Students family must hold valid Community League Membership)

Uniform Requirements: White Karate gi must be worn during classes

Session: September to May (subject to change)

Class Times:

Beginner Class – Youth (8 years and over)

Beginner Class – Adult (White belts)

Mondays & Tuesdays: 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Advanced Class – Youth (Yellow belts and above)

Advanced Class – Adult (Yellow belts and above)

Mondays & Tuesdays: 7:30pm - 8:30pm

In the Northern Lights Region of Scouts Canada, 117th Rosslyn Community League Group offers fun and adventure to develop well rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world.

Beavers Scouts (ages 5-7 years)

Wednesdays: 6:45pm - 7:45pm

Venture Scouts (ages 15-17 years)
